Vacation!

A couple of days after the end of school, we hightailed it outta here and headed south! We went to Fort Myers Beach, FL. and honestly picked the place because Jetblue flies there and we haven’t been there before. Sounded nice! We rented a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo with a screened in terrace and heated pool. We had a really fun time, despite it having rained every day. Yes, every day! At least not for the whole day. Since Sienna just finished swimming lessons, she was quite happy spending most of the time in the heated pool. Which was fine since the beach sand was very shelly. Was pretty disappointed about that. When it was raining, we played a lot of Uno and Sorry (card version) and drew in our journals. Yves became obsessed with fried grouper sandwiches and I think he ordered it at every restaurant we went to. No exaggeration! We ate a lot of homemade ice cream and let Sienna stay up for however long she wanted to each night and she pretty much conked out by 10-10:30. The Independence day fireworks weren’t all that exciting for her but maybe it was too far away.
